Core Repo Tools is a private set of command-line tools and local agents that its operator runs on the operator's own computers to work with the operator's own Google account data: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar and Gmail. It is not offered to the public and has no user other than its operator. The Google OAuth application named Core Repo Tools exists only so that these tools can sign in to the operator's own Google accounts.
Only the data of the Google account that signs in, within the scopes shown on Google's consent screen at the time of consent: reading and editing files in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides), reading and editing calendar events, and reading or sending mail where that scope was granted. The tools never access another person's account.
To read, export, mirror and edit the operator's own documents, decks and calendar from the operator's machines: exporting a document to Markdown, mirroring a Drive folder into a local repository, updating a slide deck, listing the week's events. The results stay in the operator's private files and repositories.
OAuth tokens are stored locally on the operator's machines, in files readable by the operator only. Google user data obtained through the tools is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train machine-learning models. These pages set no cookies and run no scripts or analytics.
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's third-party access settings; the locally stored tokens stop working at once and are deleted. Local copies of exported data are deleted by the operator when they are no longer needed.
Questions about this policy go to the support e-mail shown on the Google consent screen of Core Repo Tools.
